MARIANA PUSSACQ

SHE’S AN ARCHITECT AND ARTIST WHO STARTED DEVELOPING HER CREATIVITY WHEN SHE WAS BEARLY 9 YEARS OLD. HER KNOWLEDGE OF ARCHITECTURE HAS MADE HER ART TANGIBLE, RESULTING IN FABRICS OF UNIQUE COLORS AND TEXTURE.

IN 2010, MARIANA DECIDED TO DEVELOP HER COLOR PALETTE OVER FABRICS SUCH AS VELVET, LINENS, CANVAS, COTTON, PANAMA, AND TUSSORE, DYED BY HERSELF. SHE WAS ABLE TO CREATE A PALETTE OF MORE THAN 100 COLOR TONES, THUS BECOMING THE PRINCIPAL ARTIST IN COLOR DEVELOPMENT IN THE TEXTILE WORLD. THE FABRICS WERE ORIGINALLY USED IN HER INTERIOR DESIGNS AS HER PERSONAL AND ARTISANAL SIGNATURE.

IN 2011, SHE BEGAN SHARING THESE FABRICS AND COLORS WITH FELLOW ARCHITECTS AND DESIGNERS.

IT WAS SO THAT IN THE YEAR 2012 SHE CONTRIBUTED TO THE GOLD MEDAL WINNING SPACE AT CASA FOA. THE SAME YEAR SHE LAUNCHED “EL PERCHERO” AT PAUL FRENCH GALLERY, EXPANDING HER HORIZONS TOWARDS INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTS AND DESIGNERS.

CASA ALMACÉN IS THE RESULT OF ART AS A SENSITIVE ELEMENT, A NEW CONCEPT EMBRACED BY THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY INCORPORATING ARTISANAL PROCESSES WITHOUT INDUSTRIALIZATION.

THE COLLECTION IS A SUCCESSION OF COLORS AND TEXTURES INSPIRED BY THE NATURAL MONOCHROME, ACCENTUATING THE INFINITE TEXTURES BY COLOR OF ITS CREATION. THE ALCHEMY OF COLOR CREATION IS THE RESULT OF IMMEDIATE DESIRE, THE POSSIBILITY OF EXPRESSING ANY INSPIRATION FROM NATURE INTO THE FABRIC ITSELF.

THROUGH THIS TECHNIQUE, COLORS WITH PROFESSIONAL FORMULAS ARE BORN, RESISTANT TO LAUNDERING AND LIGHT. LOCATED IN THE CRADLE OF THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY, INSIDE VILLA FLANDRIA, ARE THE FACTORY AND LABORATORY WHERE THESE DYED TEXTILES ARE MADE, ALONG THEIR UNIQUE COLORS WITH EXCLUSIVE COMPOSITIONS AND DESIGNS.
